ABSTRACT
A 60-year-old chemistry lab technician underwent a tertiary individual prevention program due to hand eczema that was believed to be work-related and refractory to treatment. While the clinical signs on her hand were inconclusive, discrete psoriasiform skin lesions were observed on the glutes. Molecular classification confirmed the diagnosis. After switching to calcipotriol and acitretin, the condition improved significantly, and the patient regained her ability to work. This case underscores the importance of a full-body examination and molecular diagnostics in unclear cases of occupational dermatology.
