# EPESCA-Studie: Was bedeutet verborgene Sehnenentzündung für euch? **Die Kernergebnisse:** Die Studie untersuchte 211 Psoriasis-Patienten ohne Gelenkbeschwerden mit Ultraschall. Etwa 40 Prozent zeigten verborgene Sehnenentzündungen (Enthesitis), obwohl sie keinerlei Schmerzen hatten. Nur 6,6 Prozent hatten aktive Entzündungen. Entscheidend: Nach einem Jahr entwickelte niemand Psoriasis-Arthritis.[1] **Was das für euch bedeutet:** Die gute Nachricht ist, dass verborgene Sehnenentzündungen bei Psoriasis zwar häufig sind – aber nicht automatisch zu Arthritis führen. Das nimmt Druck raus. Die Studie zeigt: Ihr müsst nicht in Angst leben, wenn euer Arzt eine solche Veränderung im Ultraschall entdeckt. **Für euren Alltag:** Regelmäßige Ultraschall-Untersuchungen können euch helfen, Veränderungen früh zu erkennen. Das ermöglicht bessere Vorsorge. Achtet weiterhin auf ausreichend Bewegung, gesundes Gewicht und aufmerksame Beobachtung – ohne Überreaktion.[1]
