Wirksamkeit und Sicherheit von Deucravacitinib, einem oralen, selektiven Tyrosinkinase-2-Inhibitor, bei Patienten mit aktiver Psoriasis-Arthritis: Ergebnisse nach 52 Wochen aus der randomisierten, doppelblinden, placebokontrollierten Phase-3-Studie POETYK

Ein neues Medikament gegen Psoriasis Arthritis zeigt nach einem Jahr gute Ergebnisse. In der Studie POETYK PsA‑1 bekamen 670 Erwachsene entweder Deucravacitinib als Tablette einmal täglich oder ein Scheinmedikament[3]. Nach 16 Wochen sprachen 54 von 100 Menschen mit Deucravacitinib an, mit Placebo nur 34[3][4]. Nach 52 Wochen ging es vielen noch besser und Gelenkschäden nahmen langsamer zu[3][4]. Schwere Nebenwirkungen traten selten auf und nicht häufiger als unter Placebo, es gab keine Todesfälle[3][4]. Deucravacitinib könnte damit eine weitere bequeme Therapie Option für Menschen mit Psoriasis Arthritis sein[3][4].
